An immunochromatographic assay, sandwich-type for the detection of Giardia duodenalis in feces.

Procedure

Take a swab from the handpiece.
Place the sample in a buffer tube, stir well and allow to stand for 1 minute.
Scoop up the top layer of liquid with a dropper.
Sprinkle 3 drops on the test. Wait 5-10 minutes.

Results

Positive: Current T and C line
Negative: only line C present
If the C-line is missing, the test is faulty
