EickLoxx Large Osteosynthesis Kit (Large) [ECM]

Universal multiaxial osteosynthesis system for small animals The newly developed EickLoxx Large is a multi-purpose, stable osteosynthesis system for dogs weighing about 15 to 45 kg.

Like EickLoxx Small, it is distinguished by its multi-level arrangement of screws with a non-standard fit and combines the advantages of a locking plate system with a multi-component placement of screws in a longitudinal and transverse inclination of +15°. Compared to conventional osteosynthesis systems, the use of locking systems (internal fixation), such as EickLoxx Large, facilitates faster fracture healing and improved implant strength. For this reason, it is rare to remove plates and screws.

Biologically advantageous titanium plates (S-shape) are available in eight sizes and can be cut to the desired length and bent in two planes. For this purpose, specially designed tools are used. Titanium also reduces artifacts in postoperative imaging. Long plates with 14 and 16 holes and longer screws of 34 to 40 mm (Ø 2.7 / 3.5 / 4.0) are not included in the basic set and can be used in case of

requid need to add. On the EickLoxx instrument storage tray there is space for both additional long plates and longer screws.
