Availability and delivery

An immunochromatographic assay, sandwich-type for the detection of kailcivirus and feline herpesvirus in eye, nose and serum secretions.

Package Includes

  • tests, droppers 
  • buffer
  • swabs
  • statement

Procedure

  1. Take a conjunctiva/nasal swab.
  2. Place the swab in the container with the buffer, mix well and leave for 1 minute to stand
  3. Take a sample from the top layer of the liquid into the dropper
  4. Sprinkle 3 drops on the test and wait 5-10 minutes.

Results

  • Positive: T and C line present
  • Negative: Only line C present
  • If C-line is missing, the test is faulty

Test shelf life - 18 months
