Ribes Pet Symbio cane – flavoured gel is a complementary feed for dogs with a synergistic and complete effect.

Thanks to the synergistic effect of the ingredients, the preparation supports the proper functioning of both the skin and intestinal barriers.

It is also indicated to support the proper functioning of the intestinal microbiota and the immune system. It can also be used in elimination diets.

Action

Blackcurrant oil – immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects due to the properties of gamma-linolenic acid, a precursor of anti-inflammatory prostaglandins PGE1; anti-inflammatory effect: thanks to the content of GLA and SA acids, blackcurrant oil is able to counteract the formation of highly inflammatory leukotrienes (LTB4), stimulating the formation of anti-inflammatory leukotrienes (LTB5).

Lactobacillus reuteri NBF-1 – prevent and delay the growth of pathogenic bacteria, stimulate the intestinal mucosa (increase in IgA secretion), support the development of defensive flora. They have the effect of inhibiting the adhesion and growth of pathogenic bacterial strains in the intestinal tract, leading to improved gut function and overall animal health.

Nucleotides – have a trophic effect on intestinal epithelial cells, improve immune, specific and non-specific response, increasing the response of leukocytes to infection, phagocytosis and interleukin production. They have a prebiotic and bifidogenic effect, since at the level of the intestine they stimulate the development of microflora richer in bacteria with probiotic activity, such as bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria.

Zinc oxide – prevents the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria to the intestines and their proliferation, protects intestinal cells by preventing increased permeability of tight junctions and modulating the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokine genes.
