Veterinary otoscopes
Veterinary otoscopes
An otoscope is a medical instrument used in the diagnosis of ear diseases, mainly in humans, but also in animals. It consists of a light-powered tube that is inserted into the ear canal and a lens that allows you to view the inside of the ear. Otoscopes allow doctors and veterinarians to assess the condition of the eardrum, detect the presence of infections, blockages or pathological changes in the outer and middle ear, and allow simple diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as removing accumulated wax or taking a sample of secretion for laboratory tests.
