Veterinary Pulse Oximeters

Pulse oximeters are medical devices used to monitor blood oxygen saturation levels and heart rate in patients. They work by placing a clip on your finger that emits infrared light through your skin and then records the amount of light passing through your blood vessels. Based on changes in light absorption, pulse oximeters calculate the level of oxygen saturation in hemoglobin and the patient's pulse. They are extremely useful in monitoring patients during medical procedures, in intensive care units, and during sleep for patients with respiratory disorders.
