The main cause of serious anesthesia incidents in veterinary offices is the patient's unnoticed apnea. Routine controlled ventilation helps to dramatically minimize these risks, ensuring optimal patient safety. EICKEMEYER® NarkoVet PRO has an integrated ventilator powered by an electronic turbine, eliminating the need for propellant gas from an external compressor. To protect patients and staff, the system performs an automatic leak test at start-up. Automatic EtCO₂ ventilation control (safety update) using capnographs will be available as an upgrade kit from June 2025.
